Touring Exhibition FAQ's
As Pete's tour is about to start, we thought we would put together some FAQ's regarding the tour. We look forward to seeing you all on the road.
What is the Tour all about?
Artist Pete McKee is taking his exhibition ‘The Boy With a Leg Named Brian’ on tour across 10 different city’s in England. The exhibition will be displayed for just one day in an independent music venue in each city. In the evening after the exhibition has closed, the venue will transform for a live show from Pete’s band ‘The Everly Pregnant Brothers’.
25 April – Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
26 April – Manchester, Night & Day
02 May – Brighton, Green Door Store
03 May - Bristol, The Exchange
09 May – Southampton, The Joiners
10 May – Birmingham, Hare & Hounds
16 May – Liverpool, District
17 May – Newcastle, Cluny
23 May – Nottingham, Metronome
24 May - London, 100 Club
Do I need a ticket to enter the exhibition?
The exhibition is free for all to enter in the day time and you do not need to book, except for in London. The 100 Club is only open to 14+ with an adult, therefore you will need to book a free ticket in advance by following this link.
Do I need a ticket to watch the band?
Yes, the evening live shows are ticketed, you can purchase these here.
What time is everything happening?
The exhibition is open in each venue between 12pm and 5pm.
The evening show starts at 7:30pm each evening.
Will Pete be at the exhibition?
Pete will be performing in the evening and because of this we can’t guarantee that he will be at the daytime exhibition, as it will be a long day including travelling. He might make an appearance at some of the shows, but we won’t know until the day, if this is happening.
Can I take photos?
Yes please, you are welcome to take pictures, please try and tag @petemckee into any that you post
Will you be selling anything at the exhibition?
Yes, we will have a selection of merchandise available at each of the shows. Including some limited edition items exclusive to each city.
Why Music venues?
Pete see’s his paintings like his songs and exhibitions his albums. He also loves to display work in non-traditional spaces. This combined with his love for performing with his band, is what sparked the idea to blend these two passions of his together!
