Does Pete do personal commissions?
Unfortunately, Pete stopped taking on private commission as he was finding it too difficult to keep up with his other projects and ever-increasing workload whilst doing these. However, if you are interested in working on a collaborative project then please get in touch!
Does Pete do signings or dedications?
Sadly, we are unable to facilitate personal messages and signings at the gallery as Pete works from his studio at home. Pete would love to be able to accept such requests and greatly appreciates that he receives so many. Unfortunately, due to the high volume, it isn't possible to keep up with them.
I have seen you offer a variety of framing options in store. Are these also available online?
At the McKee Gallery, we offer our 'McKee Bespoke' service with a selection of over 70 different framing options. However, when ordering online, this service is unavailable.
Our standard frame option is angled black, however, we also offer flat black or flat white frames. If you would prefer one of these two options, please include it in the order note at checkout.
Can I bring back a print, poster etc. I previously purchased at the McKee Gallery to have it framed?
Absolutely. No matter how long ago you bought your print, poster or limited edition, you can always bring it back to us for framing. We only charge the difference for framing. Our framer is based locally and everything he frames is made bespoke.
I want to frame one of your prints/posters/limited editions myself. What size do I need?
When framing something from the McKee Gallery, please refer to the unframed dimensions of the artwork which appear below all the products online. The size of the frame should be the same dimensions of the unframed print.
Can I personalise, alter, or add something to McKee prints, posters or products?
We’re afraid that we cannot alter, add or personalise any of our products. They can only be purchased as they appear in our online shop and in our gallery.
I’ve seen a McKee image outside the McKee gallery but it’s not available to purchase on your website. Where can I find it?
Pete has been working as an artist for almost 20 years and has created a large body of work. To keep both the online and gallery shop streamlined we have carefully curated a selection of prints. Often, anything that doesn’t appear here is no longer for sale. However, if you would like to double check, please email us at pete@petemckee.com with as much information as you can, preferably including a picture of the image you are referring to. This way we can give you an answer as quickly as possible.
Can you donate a product/s or create artwork for charitable events?
We greatly appreciate being considered to support so many events.
However, due to the amount of requests for donations we receive on a daily basis, we sadly are unable to provide contributions to all them. While we would love to help out, we have to prioritise our ongoing commitments to specific charities. Pete works directly with, and is a longstanding patron of, the Teenage Cancer Trust and the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. His support of, and involvement with, these organisations keeps him fully engaged throughout the year.
We sincerely apologise for any disappointment this may cause, and we wish you all the best with your event and fundraising.
Do you have a mailing list?
Yes! By joining our mailing list you will receive updates on our product launches, exhibitions and events (basically all of our exciting stuff).
To join, visit our homepage, scroll down to our ‘Fan Club’ section, and add your email.
Do you do gift vouchers?
Yes! Our gift vouchers make great gifts as we have such an extensive range of prints and products to choose from.
Our gift vouchers don’t have an expiry date which allows the holder to take their time choosing what they want. We offer both online gift cards and in store gift cards.
Is Pete’s dog Eric, his tiny Chihuahua companion, cute?
