In 2020 Pete created this exquisite set of limited edition prints that celebrate the four seasons, inspired by his love of Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock prints which first emerged in the 17th century. Ukiyo-e, meaning ‘pictures of a floating world’, often celebrated the beauty of nature in all its annual stages.
Limited to 100, each edition consists of four prints, all signed and numbered by the artist and packaged in a special presentation box. These seasonal images have been printed on 250gsm Context Recycled Paper by Harvey Lloyd Screen Print, a specialist printers based in East Sussex who have been using innovative printing techniques since 1976. A3 in size, The Seasons prints range from 6-10 colours per image. These prints have all sold out.
