The Snog

Originally created for the 2013 Joy of Sheff Exhibition.

Till the end of our days

I will love you forever.

Through the ups and downs

I will never leave your side.

I’ll stand on top of Snig Hill

And tell the world how much I love you.

From Fargate to Neepsend, over the Don

And down Castlegate.

In the bars full of proud men

And women strong as steel,

I’ll raise a glass and remember you in your prime

And look at you now, older, wiser and full of charm

And say: you are my Joy, you are my City.

You are Sheffield.
